Sibenik is about 3 hours away from the split bus. It is built by the sea, and the old city is more than 10 minutes away from the station. St. Jacob’s Church is just up the stairs. It is built entirely of stone, and has a simple design of relief windows. Activities, crowded with praying people.
The Church of St. Jacob in Sibenik: In 2000, it was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
When the local wedding was going on again, it was all big beauties!
It is the largest stone church in the world that is not supported by bricks and woods. On the outer wall of the church, there are 71 heads of people carved. It is said that they were portrayed according to the real appearance of people in the Middle Ages 500 years ago...
The church is so beautiful (history I will avoid it). We stayed there for about an hour, watching tourists from all over the world rush to and fro.
