This was a quick and easy drive from airport and then back to The strip. We had rented a car for a day from the airport rental center to do this
Colorful Mountain | A new landmark of U.S. niche internet celebrities check-in
Following Monte Cristo in the United States, the Five Fingers Mountains in Chile, and the Underwater Museum in Mexico... there is nothing modern artists dare to challenge. Swedish artist Ugo Rondinone and his team built these seven totem-like boulder mountains in the desert south of Las Vegas in 5 years. ⛰️This artwork uses 33 boulders, each of which is 18,000 to 26,000 kilograms, and each mountain is 21 to 23 meters high. Such a huge public art will be exhibited in 2021, so don’t miss it!

1️⃣It is recommended to take pictures of the sunset in the morning or afternoon. Backlit at noon, the effect is not good!
2️⃣You can wear plain clothes, the stones are already very bright, white tee with jeans and white shoes are very good! Cool American West Wind!
4️⃣ Wide-angle shooting is better, or sitting on one of the rocks, the effect of long legs is also very good! Choose one of the colored stones as the background, and it is very feel to take close-up shots.
5️⃣ California’s sun is too bright, and the scenic spots are quite windy. Wear your sunglasses.

Very cool! Good place to take awesome pics!
It’s a quick pit stop right off the freeway on the 15 freeway. You can stop by on your way to Vegas or back. It’s free and pretty cool. It won’t be there forever, so make sure to stop by when you can.
We have seen this art installation twice! And we all love going to see it. It's a nice way to get out of the city.
Worth the visit if you want to take a detour to or from Vegas. This is actually a state park or sorts and great for a photo op with family, friends and loved ones. You can actually see the rock mountains also along the 15 during the daylight.
Neat place to take fam or friends on the way home. It's about 8 miles away from primm. There's parking there but on sand rock area, I would suggest to wear comfortable shoes like sneakers so you don't twist your ankle. Free entrance!
