It is a beautiful high tower next to the public library in the heart of Colombo. The War Memorial and Public Library are located at the end of the Victoria Ark and can be seen on a tour. The war memorial was dedicated to military personnel killed in the first and second world wars. Their names were printed on the walls of the war memorial. The first was made in Galle noodles and later moved to the lace. It was built by the British during their reign from 1921 to 1923 and is on public roads and can be seen while driving alongside.
