Zengchong Dongzhai

Zengchong Drum Tower is located 82 kilometers northwest of Congjiang County, southeast of Guizhou Province, built in 1672 (11 years of Qing Kangxi), is the oldest, largest and best preserved Yuanjia Drum Tower in Guizhou Province. Drum Tower is a unique folk-custom building of the Yi people, and is a place for major activities such as gathering people to discuss matters, resolve disputes, welcome guests, sing big songs and step on the hall.
