Why It’s Worth Visiting
Tivoli Gardens combines historic charm, modern amusement, and vibrant entertainment, making it a must-visit destination in Copenhagen. It’s ideal for families, couples, and anyone seeking a magical blend of culture, thrills, and scenic beauty in an iconic Danish setting.
It was beautiful very busy so if you’re planning on doing something like rides or visit stores, that’ll take a long time. The entry ticket price is way more for the experience I feel.
The place is really beautiful, the rides are interesting, and there’s plenty to enjoy for everyone. Definitely worth visiting.
This is the best recreation and leisure place of Denmark. The park is very beautiful and well designed and maintained. There are lots of activities for kids and families. I did enjoy a lot here even for the short time. Highly recommended!
The last day of 2019 was spent at TIVOLI, which is also the second oldest theme park in the world. The English name of Tivoli Gardens read backwards is "I Lov(e) It", which means "I love it", which is very poetic.
The park is not big, but it is beautiful and exquisite. There are various large-scale motorized games, which can bring back the joy of childhood. On Sundays, hymns are sung on various stages, which are very engaging and joyful. There is also a parade that runs until 11 o'clock in the evening, so you can have a great time. There are many Chinese elements in it, such as the Chinese tower and the stage for people to have fun together. It is an excellent playground.
I have been to so many amusement parks, but it turns out that Tivoli is exactly what I imagined a starlight amusement park to be like! All the buildings and rides in Tivoli are dotted with a circle of twinkling stars. It feels so romantic to sit on a bench and wait for the roller coaster! Tivoli is one of the oldest amusement parks in the world. The park was officially opened to the public on August 15, 1843. After more than 150 years, it has become the most popular theme park in Scandinavia. It happened to be Saturday, and there was a "Saturday Swing" live music performance. There were many gray-haired grandpas and grandmas in the crowd who swayed and danced with it. Looking at the stars, what a wonderful night!
It is known as the oldest amusement park in the world. The Chinese pavilions and the Indian Taj Mahal-style buildings and rides complement each other. However, I would not say that the roller coaster is the scariest roller coaster I have ever ridden. The screams throughout the whole ride shocked the whole audience! After the ride, I went to ride the carousel to calm down.
Denmark is the fairytale garden of Northern Europe, and Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen is the symbol of Denmark. Although it is full of avant-garde and crazy amusement rides, it is always shrouded in a peaceful atmosphere and is a place full of love.
