John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge

We have been to Cincinnati many times over the years and the Robinson suspension bridge is a dark and dark relic. It has been well maintained for nearly a decade and now it has become a landmark on the lake. We didn't realize the mural project until we looked online. We entered Cincinnati this way so we could see the murals and nearby George Rogers Clark Park. It is worth a stop if you cross the bridge. The road to the bridge on both sides of the river is well developed and built.

Cincinnati, divided by the Ohio River. The north bank belongs to Ohio and the south bank to Kentucky. Five bridges connect the two sides. The Robin Bridge in Cincinnati (Roebling Bridge) was the first of these bridges to be built, designed by John Augustus Roblin, who is also the designer of the Brooklyn Bridge in New York, so the two bridges have similar appearances. The Robin Bridge crosses the Ohio River, and the south bank of the river is Kentucky. Cincinnati International Airport is also on the south bank. Near the Robin Bridge, there are many murals reflecting the history and culture of Cincinnati on the river bank. There is also a Robin Bridge Building nearby, like a pulled-out accordion, which is very distinctive.

I would drive or walk past the Robin Suspension Bridge whenever I had the opportunity. For those interested in architecture and history, the Robin Suspension Bridge is a delightful thing and it is very convenient to go there. I used to work in Kentucky, and I drove through the drawbridge every day, and it was smooth to downtown and Carvington.

Very near bridge that is very scenic to cross and reminds you somewhat of a smaller Brooklyn bridge. There's a nice park to enjoy the scenery on the other side.
