It takes about two hours to visit the Da Nang War Museum. You can walk to the museum from the center of Da Nang, or take a taxi from other places, which is less than 60,000 VND. The museum has a beautiful garden where visitors can sit and have a drink by the lake. We cost £6 for a round trip from the hotel, and £12 for couples. If you don't have a guide, you can get a route map. There are many military exhibits outside, all of which are leftover fragments of aircraft, helicopters, missiles, and artillery during the Vietnam War. Each fragment has a story, which is explained in English. You can also go to the main building. The main building shows stories of guns, payments, and wars and conflicts with China, Cambodia, France, and the United States. There are also many photos. Then we went to the Ho Chi Minh Museum and learned about the history of Ho Chi Minh and his influence on society. It was very interesting.
This is a good place to get to know Ho Chi Minh, the former leader of Vietnam. The memorial hall occupies a large area, and is similar to the memorial hall in Hanoi. Four exhibition rooms fully display the life deeds of Ho Chi Minh, and one exhibition room also displays the stilt house where Ho Chi Minh lived before his death.
