Fair Park is a large area in Dallas that hosts a variety of events. The most popular event is The State Fair of Texas held during September and October each year. If you’re not around for one of the many annual events, head on out to one of the museums or gardens at the Fair Park or see if there is a smaller event going on that weekend like a concert. Try to get a photo with Big Tex, a 55-foot cowboy that represents everything great about Texas and Dallas history.
