TIPPER SLAYED FOR THANKSGIVING WEEKEND
This review will probably be different than a lot of the others because of the artist I saw but it says something about the overall venue for hosting the event & the acoustics of the building don't change. Just got back from seeing a 3 night Tipper run at the Fillmore. Perfect sound, decent security, good food and a variety of viewing areas for everybody to enjoy. Rich history is photographed all over the walls. Really this place has a lot going for it. The chandeliers are stunning & for one night, they ran no visuals or lasers & let those chandeliers shine. Also a disco ball. Just wow. The crowd was pleasant to be around. Pro tip - the downstairs bathrooms go a lot faster than upstairs. Get the Pepperoni pizza bc the cheese is lacking flavor. The drinks in the upstairs bar are strong. Check out the upstairs btw its got a cool lounge.

The size and layout is decent enough and the prices are typical venue prices for drinks and what not (my Red Bull was seven dollars). They have outdoor smoking that’s easily accessible and I did see d...
Here's the gist , we went to see Tate Mcray on Sept 6, bought tickets through Ticket master ( the very name makes me furious after Taylor disaster) took a 13 and 17 year old! As an extra i am sent a email to buy VIP upgrade from the venue for 35 dollars extra , for VIP lounge, restaurants, early shopping etc.... What a crock ! When we got there the front of the building had 3 lines already started and around the side had a huge line the only sign to be seen said GA so having the VIP upgrade I assumed there would be a line for that and a line for sound check /meet and greet etc, not one sign anywhere and when we asked someone with a badge on they snipped at us and said "im not sure" what you work here !!!!! There ended up to be 10 or so employees standing there totally clueless !!! needless to say doors open 1 hour early no 515 before we got in and nobody coming around with wristbands ! we stood in aline till 610 and darn near died running down the stairs ! Best part two security guards and 2 bartenders in VIP lounge ! Long story short NEVER buy VIP upgrade from the fillmore!!!! Buy Meet and greet or sound check when you buy tickets! Or buy GENERAL ADMISSION and get there early !!!!! Lesson learned !!!!!Never Again !
