At the end of the 19th century, Anshou, a French Catholic missionary, took the route of salt well from Yasuding, arrived in Chavalon, Tibet, and then into the Nujiang River. It took ten years before and after the Zhongding Church, which was inaugurated in 1935. The church is French-style, with residential buildings on both sides, chapels in the middle and two bell towers. The pillars are made of white jade, and the whole church is square and can accommodate thousands of people.

Chongding Church is located in Chongxing Village, Bingzhongluo Township, Gongshan County, Nujiang Prefecture. The Chongding Church was built in 1896 and is a Chinese and Western structure. There is a huge chestnut tree next to the church, and the French missionary Ren Anshou is buried under the tree.
Bingzhongluo not only has the best scenery of Gongshan Mountain, but also the best terraced fields. Chongding Church is also located here
