Zhuolun mine was built between 1898 and 1904, and it was a plan used by the coal mine company to establish the leading position in the industry. It was designed by the most expensive plant, introduced the latest mining equipment and technological innovation. To show its strength and ambition to its competitors and hope that the mine will become a "model mine", but as with all coal mining industries in the Ruhr region, the Zhuolun mine was permanently closed in 1966. In 1981, LWL (Landschaftsverband Westfalen Lippe) changed it to the National Museum of Industrial Heritage. The red brick facade is also known as the "Palace of Labor", and the beautiful round gates of the engine room have long been a landmark, but the contents of the display rooms are heavy. It shows the miners working and peaceful recreation, from changing clothes, going down the well, to returning to the ground to clean themselves after work, and the harsh working environment is lifelike in front of us. The limited recreation and the love of the young men and women of that era were perhaps the only comfort. Underground in these factories, there are still tunnels that miners walk through, and now there are precious photography on display.
