The bunker of Dover Castle was the command post of the Dunkirk evacuation, and there was also an attached hospital. The view from the castle is excellent, you can see the sea, the city, and the castle green. There are not so many people, at least there is a lack of commercial facilities.
It was pretty windy on the day we went there so our phones almost got blown off. Recommend that you wear a windbreaker if going in November or December. Alot of walking to do as the castle is huge. So much to see and explore!
Dover Castle is located in a corner of this town. The scenery is great. It is really beautiful, magnificent and unique. What is special is that the grass at the door is very fertile and it is very comfortable to walk. You can also visit the interior. It is best to book an audio guide for a better introduction~
Not many people come to the city of Dover, but if you really come here you will find that it is really beautiful. The Dover Castle is located on the top of Ulton Hill on the seaside, and the scenery here is great.
Crying, it is closed on Sundays in the past few months, but the white cliffs and the surrounding scenery are superb
Dover Castle is one of the most memorable castles in the UK, built to guard the UK's maritime crossroads. Standing on the castle and looking out, you can see the French coastline across the Channel on a clear day.
