      Quaint house

It was a nice surprise to find out that one of my favourite artists had a museum in Echizen. We happened upon it by accident. It is a small house but it gives you an idea of the house that she grew up...

Chihiro was born away from this house.

      Original Text

About 10 minutes walk from Takeo Station. The entrance fee is 300 yen. Iwasaki Chihiro was born in 1918 at the away of this house where he was a quality old clothes merchant. I moved to Tokyo in a few months after birth, and there is no distance from the time now, so the relationship between the present building and Chihiro is thin. The old building facing the street is the main building, and the modern general house style building in the backyard is an annex. The building is not allowed to take pictures. Echizen Fuchu Machinaka Museum

      Original Text

I didn't know it was a birthplace at all. I stopped by because it was shown on the map in the city walk. It was a hard place to understand if there was no map app, but there was a monument in front of the birthplace which became a memorial hall. The window glass was displayed with a panel of "Echizen Fuchu Machinaka Museum" and it seemed to be expected to visit tourists.

A town house with an atmosphere

      Original Text

The house is a home of Chihiro Iwasaki, a Japanese painter, and is built in a place where merchants lined up on the south side of Kurano Tsuji in a historic castle town. The mother who moved to a high school teacher at Takeo's high school was married and rented a house away from the house and gave birth to Chihiro on December 15, 1918.

      Echizen city sightseeing

      Original Text

It is about 10 minutes walk from Takeo Station. When you go to the 2 floor from the entrance, a planning exhibition is held, and Chihiro works are exhibited. On the way from the first floor to the back, there is a photograph of your mother, Bunjie, etc. People were small eyes so we were able to visit slowly〇
