About 5 minutes walk from Takeo Station. Admission fee is free. Reinforced concrete built in 1929. It is a registered tangible cultural property of the country with the appearance of the public hall in the early Showa period. The location is located in the place where the domain school 'Rikkyokan' was located, and a stone monument carved as' kengaku monument 'is built on the right side of the front. It is said that the historical materials of Echizen city are exhibited in the building, but the day when I visited was closed despite the opening day and I couldn't visit it.
The two plates were placed at the entrance of the museum, "registered tangible cultural property" and "Echizen Fuchu Machinaka Museum". I don't know the location of the Echizen Fuchu Machinaka Museum, but I understood that it was an important building designated as a registered tangible cultural property. On the day of my visit, an emergency planning exhibition "Amabier and sick" was held, and I looked at it for free.
It is a heavy building built south of the west exit of JR Takeo Station, and it is designated as a registered tangible cultural property of the country. It is a building suitable for Takeo with an old history as a castle town. The first floor is a permanent exhibition of archaeological materials, and the ２ floor is a space to introduce the history of Echizen City. The public hall, which was the center of the administrative culture of the opening of the museum in 1929, is renovated and is now in existence. It is close to the kuranotsuji and Chihiro Memorial Hall.
Built in 1924, it is a simple form of straight, rectangular architecture that is commonly seen in the old city hall. In the middle of the exhibition, the history of modern Takeo is one room from Jomon, but you can see an overview.
I stopped by the surrounding area from Takeo Station. There was a coin locker on the first floor and it was a permanent area. "History of Echizen City" was held. Exhibition works were prohibited from shooting. The exhibition space is not large, but it is good to know the history of Echizen city〇
