Introduction

Huazang Temple is a temple in the clouds located in the center of Jinding, the summit of Mount Emei. The buildings of the temple are decorated with large amounts of copper which shines out with great brilliance under the sunlight. The temple is built atop the mountain. The highest is the Puxian Hall, also known as Jindian (the Golden Temple) or Jinding (the Golden Summit), and hence the mountains is named "Jinding." The Huazang Temple was built in the Eastern Han Dynasty, but the temples that exist today have been rebuilt in recent years. Today, the temple is still booming, attracting many believers to worship. In the front of the Huazang Temple stands the statue of Samantabhadra (the universal worthy) with ten heads facing four different sides.
