Leidong Plateau

Leidongping is located in the seven-li slope of Emei Mountain, Leshan City, Sichuan Province, adjacent to the Golden Summit. It was named Thunder God in Tang and Song Dynasty. It was Ming Dynasty Thunder God. It was rebuilt during the Qing Qianlong period and changed its name to Leidongping. It is said that there are 72 holes under the rock, where dragon god and thunder god live. In the event of a drought, the villagers came here to ask for rain. There is a forbidden iron monument on the side of the temple to prevent loud noises and thunderstorms. There is a son-in-law practicing stone "flying to the sword cave" on the right cliff of the temple. Between Leidongping and the Leading Palace is a mountain rhododendron, among which there is a rhododendron king tree 450 years old.
