Everything was great, the only downside was that we went too early and missed the projection. Maybe next time. It was raining, so we couldn't take the boat to see the cave. It was fine though. Next stop: Xuan'en. I heard they're very hospitable.
Longlin Palace integrates water cave, maze cave and dry cave, and is divided into water and land. It is majestic, strange, magical and beautiful, and can be regarded as a unique cave landscape in the province. The park has four major Attraction, eight wonders and 32 scenic spots. It relies on the natural cave at the source of Gaoqiao Reservoir to form a comprehensive water conservancy scenic area with cave sightseeing, Tujia song and dance performances, ethnic customs display, water entertainment, Dining and accommodation, conference reception, etc.
Longlin Palace is a cave landscape with both water and land, consisting of water cave, dry cave and maze cave. The cave is more than 2,300 meters long, of which the water cave "Little Three Gorges" is more than 500 meters long, and the dry cave and maze cave are more than 1,800 meters long. The average height of the cave is 50 meters and the width is 30 meters. The climate in the cave is pleasant, warm in winter and cool in summer, with an average temperature of 20℃, which is suitable for leisure in winter and summer heat relief. More than 200 scenic spots such as the one altar, two palaces, three gorges, nine dragons, thirteen halls and twenty-eight treasures of Longlin Palace are distributed in the water cave "Little Three Gorges", dry cave and maze cave. The two sides of the water cave "Little Three Gorges" are full of strange peaks, ferocious rocks, and the river water is icy cold in summer; the stalactites in the dry cave and maze cave are well preserved, with strange shapes and various forms, huge pillars supporting the sky, long dragons lying horizontally, eagles perched high, draperies hanging low, hundred-step ladders, and water mirror wonderland, which are beautiful beyond words.

A Chronicle of Dragon Scale Palace: A Hidden Gem in the Mountain's Heart Following the sound of the mountain stream, before even reaching the cave, a cascading waterfall blocks the way—a white ribbon plunges from the cliff, crashing onto the bluestone and creating a misty spray. Beside it, a vermilion pavilion bears a plaque reading "Dragon Scale Palace," like an invitation to this exploration. Climbing the steps into the cave, one is instantly transported to a dreamlike realm woven from light and shadow. Colorful lights slant across the stalactites, turning the milky white stalagmites amber, and the hanging stone curtains shimmer with emerald light. Even the watermarks accumulated over the years on the rock walls resemble ribbons studded with diamonds. A dark river flows quietly at one's feet, its surface reflecting the shimmering light from the cave ceiling. Walking on the path, one cannot distinguish whether one is stepping on solid ground or walking on a Milky Way paved with scattered stars. The most wondrous sight is the "Dragon Scale Wall" at the corner, where layers of stone, as thin as cicada wings, shimmer with a silvery-blue luster when the light shines through, truly resembling scales shed by a giant dragon, seemingly about to flutter away at the slightest touch. My companions took photos with their phones, the shutter sounds mingling with the "drip-drip" of water droplets falling into the pool, creating a unique accompaniment to this hidden paradise. Emerging from the cave and looking back at the waterfall cascading down the cliff, I suddenly understood why the ancients built a pavilion and inscribed words here—hidden within the mountain's hardness lies such a soft, flowing light, and Dragon Scale Palace is a treasure that perfectly preserves this wonder within the mountain's belly.
Although the play time is not very long, we came out in a little over an hour. The scenery in the cave is good, but the temperature inside the cave is lower than outside, and there will be dripping water, so you should be careful when dressing. The projection in the cave is based on time periods, so if you want to watch it, pay attention to the time. There is no toilet in the cave, so please clean up the inventory before entering. It is a pity that although there is a voice reminder that smoking is prohibited, there are still uncivilized phenomena such as smoking and even throwing cigarette butts.
The ticket is 50. If you also go to Tusi City, it is more cost-effective to buy a package for the two attractions. The cave is very cool and spectacular and beautiful under the lighting. You basically don't have to go back the whole way. I personally feel that it is better than many other cave attractions in China.
It is a scenic spot worth visiting. The ticket price is very favorable and cost-effective. There is natural central air conditioning inside. It is a summer resort.
It's worth a visit. The cave is quite large, and the lighting arrangement is creative, including water cave landscape and dry cave landscape. The stalactites are in various shapes, just like entering a fairyland. Due to my poor legs and time, I watched most of it but didn't finish it. It's a pity, and even more regrettable is that I didn't catch up with the light show time🥲
Located in the western suburbs of Enshi City, Hubei Province, 8 kilometers away from the city center, it is a cave landscape with both water and land, consisting of water caves, dry caves and maze caves. You can start from the entrance of the scenic area, first take a boat tour of the water cave "Little Three Gorges", admire the strange peaks and rocks on both sides, and then walk to visit the stalactite landscape of the dry cave and maze cave.
