    Small museum worth it

    The enthusiasm of the guide made the tour, Angela? We have toured smaller jails and larger prisons but this is probably the first with a very personable guide. Welcomed into ‘her’ jail, heard stories ...

    Well worth the stop.

    Really enjoyed our visit. Veronica was an excellent representative of the jail and the city. She was very knowledgeable even though she has only been on the job 3 weeks!! Great job, Veronica!

    Looks Interesting but Closed.

    Museum is open Wednesday-Friday 1-5pm or By appointment. Check their website. The County Jail is directly across the street from the Court House...as you would expect.

    We didn't have much time to spend here, but was very interesting seeing the old jail house. Lots of historic significance here.
