Hartland Covered Bridge

The world's longest wooden structure bridge - the Hartland Covered Bridge in New Brunswick, Canada, spans the St. John River and connects the two towns of Hartland and Somerville. It is 391 meters long. The bridge was built in 1901 and was not originally a covered bridge. It collapsed in 1920 and was rebuilt in 1922 to form a covered bridge. It is accessible by cars and horses and pedestrians. It was listed as a national historical artifact in Canada in 1980.
