This is an interesting, nationalistic museum about the lives of Swiss people abroad. I didn't think you could make a museum out of it but it was actually quite interesting and enjoyable. Well firstly the building it is in is a 19th Century chateau - in a lovely environment. You get to learn all about the movement of Swiss people around the world, from the Swiss military service which is said to be the first globalised business in the world, fighting other people's battles and even to today - the Swiss guards at the Vatican!Something a little different to see when in Geneva :)
Nice museum focusing on the life of the Swiss around the world, including for example the Swiss guards who protect the Vatican. The building in which it is housed is very beautiful, a 19th century castle. Is worth!
This is a curious museum where the story of Swiss people who emigrated out of the country is told. The story of emigration is told through bankers, soldiers, scientists, explorers, correspondents, diplomats ... An interesting vision in a beautiful building.
