Genting Highlands(Genting World)

Genting Highlands is really popular among locals. It is packed with people every weekend and holiday. There are several hotels all over Genting Highlands, including three-star, four-star and five-star hotels. Moreover, the hotel group is very generous and provides free rooms (but certain conditions must be met). This "free" strategy can also attract tourists to come and consume frequently.

A good, cold place to spend for short weekend gateways with family. We enjoyed spending time at both outdoor and indoor theme parks. there are many restaurants, bistro and cafe that offer variety of food to choose from. We stayed at Genting SkyWorlds Hotel which is just next to outdoor theme park - The Sixers Room was a great choice for us at it accommodated up to 6 person. Strongly recommend this for family with kids.

Cool place and many things to do - at more expensive than in the city but that’s ok due to the remote location.They could have taken more care of it as some parts are unclean, but I saw several people disrespecting the environment.Awesome bars and restaurants in the actuall mall as well! Super nice 😊

Yunding Mountain is located in Jicui Township, Fangshan County, Shanxi Province. It's about 100 kilometers away from Liulin County. We went there in early August of summer. We didn't want to do anything when we were walking. We didn't expect to shiver when we were cold. Fortunately, Fangshan friends accompanying us had more clothes ready to take, so we could be comfortable. Here the ticket is 50 yuan, entering the gate of the scenic spot to Yunding Mountain for more than 20 kilometers, and climbing a section of mountain road. There is unexpected beauty on the top of the mountain. Clouds and skies are connected, and the fog is dazzling. There is a forgotten fairyland. There are real scattered cattle and sheep in addition to the clouds and fogs. The said scattered breeding is to graze cattle to Yunding Mountain in spring and take care of them home in late autumn. So the cattle here are simply not. To avoid people is to give way to cows and sheep. Travel for several years inadvertently found a fairyland in front of home, after the summer always come here to spend two days of immortal days. Yunding Mountain can also be reached from Lvliang Jiaocheng County or Loufan County. I have traveled Loufan County. It is a long way from the top of the mountain to return, mainly because I do not know that there is such a beautiful scenery around me.

It's highly recommended. I bought a package ticket at KLSentral for 78 Ma. Including a shuttle bus to Yunding, free rides to and from cable cars and indoor theme parks, snowflake Castle tickets and 10 credit cards from funtacyworld. At the time of ticket purchase, the time of bus trip and return trip has been fixed. I ordered to go at 8 a.m. and return at 4 p.m. Since only three rides are suitable for families, I can only play these three. Others are for children of different ages. Snowflake castle is manually created to create a cold environment, let people experience the feeling of snow. There's a snowway inside which you can play with rafts. But if the adult sits, the quality is too big, it looks dangerous. Children sit, because the quality is small, the whole person is buried in the raft, it seems safer. Faacyworld is actually a video game hall. Some of the games need one credit, some need three credit, and some need four credit. I also got a little octopus to play games. I'm very happy!

Firstly, we have a food street in Wutong and Yeyecheng in the middle of the mountain. A big stall enjoys dinner. Then we take a cable car to the nearby cable station. We can only take valuables and daily necessities. The cost of storage is about 4 yuan. This ropeway must be mentioned for a moment. He is known as the world's longest ropeway. He rides for nearly 20 minutes. From Wutong in the middle of the mountain to Yunding, he can enjoy the tropical rain forest of Yunding plateau from high places. It's like a fairyland. It's wonderful. Yunding is more than 2000 meters above sea level, very cool, to the top of the mountain or accommodation, remember to take a long-sleeved clothes, the room is not air-conditioned, which is rare in tropical areas.

One-day bus ride from Kuala Lumpur to Yunding. If you go to Yunding early in the morning, you can return that day, and buy the return ticket in advance. If you don't have enough time in a day, you can stay on it. The Go Genting bus to Yunding starts from KL Sentral Station and runs every half hour. Book tickets online. The bus arrives at Awana Cable Station and rides the cable car up the hill. The whole plateau can be overlooked from the cable car with beautiful scenery. The cooler the weather and the fresher the air in Yunding, the higher the cool cable car goes directly to Sky Avenue shopping mall, which sells many well-known brands of products. Because it's too early for the shop to open, go to breakfast first.
