Pinang Peranakan Mansion

Pinang Peranakan Mansion is a museum dedicated to showcasing the Peranakan cultural heritage of Penang. It is housed in a distinctive green mansion on Church Street in George Town, which was once the home and office of 19th-century Chinese tycoon Chung Keng Quee. The house is built in the style of a typical Penang Peranakan residence, featuring carved Chinese wood panels, English floor tiles, and Scottish metalwork. It displays traditional costumes, ornaments, and furniture purchased from China and Europe, all of which were specially commissioned by Peranakan families and passed down through generations.
