It has been quite pleasant and free in Glasgow. I did the cathedral, necropolis and then the Kelvingrove museum and art gallery by paying nothing. I like that and makes me appreciate things even more. The museum and gallery exhibits a wide variety of subjects, starting from evolution to Scottish history art and even a section dedicated to Glasgow style works by mackintosh. The gallery is quite well laid out. I was told that with most Scottish galleries the entrance is complimentary and donations are accepted.
