A nice pier to see the view of the water. Lots of birds, ships to see and watch people fish. Part of the pier is covered to protect from the rain.
Fun free thing to do
It was nice to walk out on the pier and talk to the people fishing. Part of the pier is covered which makes a good place to visit if it is raining.
Nice Public Pier
Nice T shaped pier at the foot of the Village area. A portion of the pier is covered giving nice shade. Beautiful views of Jekyll Island.
St. Simons pier experience
The St. Simons Fishing pier has a great view of the ocean. It is definitely worth seeing and is free to walk out on. It is also a great place to watch the sunset!
Awesome weekend
Just love St. Simons. So much going on that weekend that we went there. It just took us longer to find a parking spot that day because it was a saturday but overall we enjoyed exploring the island.
