Cardiff Bay is very easy to go. It is very closed to Cardiff Central Station. You can take the bus or walk 30 mins from central station. It is free to visit, of course, and the scenary there is fantastic. You can spend a few hours there, no doubt. Take lots of pictures there. There are a lot of shops and restaurant and coffee shop there. So once you are tired, you can grab a coffee there, by sitting next to the seashore, enjoying the coffee and the sea at the same time. Different kinds of pubs and restaurant there, from high class to family restaurant. There are also a few historical buildings there, and there is a modern exhibition center there. The design of its outlook is so high tech, you definitely will fall in love with it.
Cardiff bay is a lovely alternative to the busier night out in Cardiff city centre. Lots of bars and restaurants to choose from a nice atmosphere near the water front. My wife and I have enjoyed a few date nights without the kids down the bay. They also do a lot of food festivals and different activities to watch out for during the day.
The sunshine that day was really comfortable~ Walking in the bay with the gentle sea breeze, Chatting leisurely, I completely fell in love with Cardiff Bay. Cardiff Bay (CARDIFF BAY). Since the mid-18th century, Cardiff Bay has gradually become the world's largest raw coal export port at that time. After the end of World War II, with the reduction of international demand and the rise of container terminals, the raw coal transportation industry basically stopped in the 1960s. By the early 1980s, Cardiff Bay had become an abandoned dock and a large wasteland of mudflats. A large number of local workers were unemployed and many people had no means of living. Faced with this situation, the British government established the Cardiff Bay Development Company in April 1987. Since then, the bay has gradually become a relatively famous tourist attraction, slowly driving the local economy.
