A retired couple from Beijing, whose children are already settled and independent, decided to take advantage of their good health to travel and fulfill their youthful dream of exploring the world. All our planning, customization, and pricing were based on the standard of a comfortable 5-seater vehicle. Cardiff bay is one of the most successful urban renewal projects in history, and has become an icon around the world for city planners and development managers. The bay was the beating heart of the coal mining trade nearly 200 years ago, but with the decline of coal exports the bay was left to ruin. It became an abandoned nightmare and a blight on the city. However the Cardiff Bay Barrage was built to link Cardiff & Penarth and a huge man made lake was created. Around this lake multiple mixed used developments popped up and the whole area has been completely transformed. Landmarks found around the bay include the Welsh Millennium Center And the Welsh Parliament Building. For shopping and eating head to Mermaid Quay with plenty of shops and restaurants. There are many options for the water too, the water taxi, speed boat rides and even tours into the city. Modern landmarks like the Wales Millennium Centre, and serene stretches along the water made for a perfect blend of relaxation and exploration. We loved spotting boats gliding by, rare birds spotting and pausing to admire public art installations, which added a creative touch to the scenery. Didn't realise that there were so many apartments around Cardiff Bay. There are se amusements such as boating and rides depending upon the weather. Good place to click pictures and make memories. It is very approachable and has good connecting buses to the city centre if you don't drive.
