Church of Our Lady of Lourdes

Built in 1890, typical Gothic style. The church was originally set up for religious life for the French consulate. A mountain of Notre Dame is built south of the garden and the statue of Notre Dame is placed. It is now a key cultural relics protection unit in the country.

Notre Dame Lude, a Catholic church on the Shamian Island in Liwan District, Guangzhou, has two Catholic churches in Guangzhou, one is the Sacred Heart Cathedral on Yide Road, or called the Stone Room, and the other is the Notre Dame Lude on Shamian Island. The path between each building is surrounded by flowers, grass and trees. From time to time, there are many interesting sculptures. Although this is not a pedestrian street, only the outside streets are open to traffic. The big trees here are basically ancient banyan trees for more than a hundred years. They are lush, vigorous and shady. The air in the rain is especially fresh. No. 14 Shamian Street is Notre Dame of Luther. It was unexpectedly founded in the 16th year of Guangxu (1890).
