The Pearl River Night Cruise departs from Zhongda Wharf, formerly known as Leisure Pier, and is located on Bijiang Road in Haizhu District, Guangzhou. Dr. Sun Yat-sen made the trip to Lingnan University by boat three times, each time landing at Zhongda Wharf. The current Zhongda Wharf was renovated during the renovation of Zhongda North Gate in 2002.
