This is a free patriotism education base. It looks like two oblique buildings on the outside, but the inside is huge! There are three exhibition halls. The first exhibition hall is in the basement on the right hand side of the entrance, telling the history of the eight years of the War of Resistance against Japan; the second exhibition hall is on the first floor, which is the film and television hall, which shows the documentary of the War of Resistance against Japan; and the third exhibition hall is in the antique building on the south side. The scene of the Japanese surrender after the victory of the War of Resistance Only by remembering history, not forgetting the national humiliation and striving to be strong can we achieve!
It is worth every citizen to receive patriotism education here. However, at present, due to the construction of subways along the way in Fuyang, the traffic is congested and inconvenient. There are no eye-catching signs at the entrance of the scenic spot, and Baidu navigation is not accurate, so pay attention to the traffic and personal safety. This morning, when I was walking on the sidewalk, I was mistakenly operated by a female driver, and the mirror hit my waist. At the time, I felt fine, and I had better not have any trouble. In conclusion, one sentence: You need to be cautious when traveling on National Day, and going out is risky.
After visiting the Memorial Hall of Suffering and Surrender, I will cherish even more that happy life is not a slogan, and I will experience with my heart...Long live peace, mutual respect, between countries, families, and people.
Do not forget the national humiliation, move forward courageously, do not forget the original intention, and keep the mission in mind!
On August 15, 1945, the defeat of Japanese imperialism announced its unconditional surrender. Songdian Village, Changxin Township, Fuyang (now Zhongqiu Village, Shoujiang Town, Fuyang City) was designated as the only place where the Japanese invaders stationed in Zhejiang surrendered.
On September 4 of the same year, Lieutenant General Han Deqin, the representative of China’s surrender, deputy commander of the third theater and director of the forward command post, accepted the surrender of Japanese representatives, Chief of Staff of the 133th Division of the Japanese Invaders in Zhejiang, and others. . At the ceremony, the Japanese side submitted the certificate, resident list, roster of officers and soldiers, and inventory of weapons. Because it is the place where major historical events took place, it has been recorded forever in the historical annals of Zhejiang's Anti-Japanese War. In September 1995, the People's Government of Fuyang City allocated funds to repair the old site and exhibited it to the public.
