In the mountains by the Qiantang River in Hangzhou, such a college with a long history is being handled. The Western missionaries established such a university among the beautiful scenery and called it Zhijiang University.
The predecessor of Hangzhou Zhijiang University was a missionary university founded by the Americans before the liberation. It was one of the ten early missionary universities in China. After the liberation, Zhijiang University was merged into Zhejiang University. Now there is still the old site, the Bell Tower and the Valley of Love Nice place, overlooking the Qiantang River and Liuhe Pagoda from a high place, the location is good.
The vicinity of Zhijiang University has now become a campus of Zhejiang University. Whether it is the huge green lawn square in the center or a small church in the middle of the back mountain, you can clearly feel the very westernized shadow here. Although most areas of the school next to the Qiantang River are not able to cover the Qiantang River among the trees, it seems extremely quiet because of this.
The former site of Zhijiang University is an ancient building with a long history. It was once used as a filming scene, and it was also a scene where many graduates of Zhejiang University took pictures. Visitors from outside also used this as a background to remember.
