I bought a 720 milliliter bottle of their junmai sake, which I found very drinkable.
We explored the famous sake brewing area called Sakagura-doori Street in Saijou, Higashihiroshima City. We entered Saijoutsuru Brewery which started in the Edo area. I chatted with the shoplady who ad...
A high chimney of red brick written in white letters with "Nishijo Tsuru"

Along Saijo Sake Brewery Street, there was Saijo Tsuru Brewery near Saijo Station. In front of a nice store (?) That feels history, there was a well "Tempoi Water" that has been used since its founding. If you go through the lattice door that feels the atmosphere, there is a liquor sales corner, but the space is a wonderful Meiji atmosphere. There is also an atmosphere of a high red brick chimney written in white letters with "Saijo Tsuru" built a little far away.
In front of the store, "TENPO Isui" used since the Edo period was also left.

From Nishijo Station, head east on Sake Brewery Street, and on your left there is SAIJO Honmachi Historical Square. There was Saijo Tsuru Brewery next to the east of this square. Next to the white-walled warehouse, there was a store that has been used since the founding of Meiji 37. The black lattice on the wall facing the street made me feel the style. In front of the entrance, there is a well written as "Edo TENPO Isui". It is said that this well water dug in the Edo period is still used for sake brewing.
I stayed at a hotel in front of SAIJO station for work. I had time, so I took a walk around, stopped by this Saijo Tsuru, bought Junmai Ikuhara sake, and tasted it alone at the hotel. It was delicious.
It was served at a small restaurant in Hiroshima City, and the mouth at that time left an impression on me, so I stopped by when I was sightseeing on Saijo's Sake Brewery Street. It seems to be a small sake brewery, but the splendid white walls and brick chimneys left an impression on me.
