We visited this park on a cruise to the Japanese islands in September 2019. Beautiful Japanese architecture, gardening, location of many iconic Japanese movies (for example, "The Last Samurai" starring Tom Cruise), fatty and rude carp in the pond, the last Russian Tsar Nicholas II Contemplative trees, bamboo forests and a bunch of dragonflies-an unforgettable experience!
The Atomic Bomb Park in the center of Hiroshima should be regarded as a marker that makes the Japanese heartache. There are many small signs around the Atomic Bomb Museum that say Peaceful Boycott of Nuclear Weapons, etc. Chinese characters plus Japanese, or you can understand the scenery is great. The river in front of the memorial building is full of cherry blossoms on both sides of the river
The best place to see cherry blossoms, romantic. . .
The most severely damaged place in Hiroshima, the entire Genyasu River is the remains of a war. The area here is also a site that was damaged by the atomic bomb. Many parks can see notes and slogans praying for peace.
The river is kept very clean, which is much better than the smelly river in our country.
