Really informative guide (his name was Cung). Watch out for his surprise quiz. Luckily we managed to escape without any mosquito bites. I am 5ft 4 so thought that I would have to crawl using my hands and knees but I was able to go through the tunnels by squatting down.

We came here with Vietnam Adventure Tour and our tour guide Uncle Cung was both funny and informative. We saw many different traps and the activities the Vietnamese did in the tunnels. When going into the tunnels we had a choice of going 20, 40, 60, 80, 100 or 140 meters. There was also a souvenir shop but it was quite expensive (can get the same things much cheaper in Ho Chi Minh City). There was a bigger tunnel entrance but I didn't have a picture.
In addition to visiting the relics of the war and listening to the guided commentary, what’s even better is that there is an authentic experience, where you can crawl in the tunnel and feel the toil of the soldiers’ life in wartime; I climbed 60 meters and it was full. I was sweating profusely. I couldn't stand it and gave up. I heard that the tunnel for tourists to crawl has been widened. It was narrower back then. It is really hard to imagine how Vietnamese soldiers can fight in Cu Chi tunnels? Even living in a tunnel! ! We don't know much about Vietnamese history itself. Therefore, a Chinese-speaking guide was specially reported to lead the tour, which made the explanation of the whole journey vivid and easy to understand. Trying a short period of Cu Chi tunnels has made myself exhausted, but it is a great experience.
Our tour guide was very informative.Standing in the bright sunshine it was hard to imagine what conditions must have been like for both sides in the war.Ten metres along a tunnel was enough for me.
Cu Chi Tunnels is a good place for students learning about Vietnam history. And for visitors to understand more about Vietnam in the past.No lasting friendship, Not ever rivals but only himself benefits. Vietnam and USA is now in good relationship and hope this for good.
It was a great experience to see a huge system of underground tunnels, all dug by hands. The iconic and heroic generation had dug 250km of tunnels, all by hand, in 20 years, to fight against the fully armed American troops. And they win, by sheer will and with such great commitment.
