[Hong Kong Po Leung Kuk Museum of History | A Free Nostalgic Paradise in Wan Chai] 📍 If you're strolling around Causeway Bay and Wan Chai, this free museum is a must-see. Located in the old Po Leung Kuk building at 66 Leighton Road, it's small but quite fascinating. It focuses on the story of how the Po Leung Kuk has rescued and protected women and children over the past century. Looking through old photos, documents, receipts, coins, and other artifacts reveals a lot about Hong Kong society in the past. The building itself is also worth noting, especially the stained glass windows and the old-style staircase, which create a truly old-fashioned Hong Kong atmosphere in photos. While the exhibits aren't particularly extensive, they're clearly laid out and can be fully explored in about half an hour. It's a great place to take a break and enjoy some history while shopping.

There are three flagpoles on the front and back of the monument, and wreaths on both sides symbolizing mourning for the dead, and the words "英魂不仙 豪气长存" in Chinese and "THE GLORIOUS DEAD" in English are engraved.
