Lantau Island is the largest island in Hong Kong. Originally the site of fishing villages, Lantau has been developed in recent years with the completion of several major infrastructure projects. Buddhist architecture; a long sandy beach; shopping outlets — Lantau Island has it all. Whatever your persuasion, Hong Kong’s largest outlying island brings solace to the soul, senses, and shopping bags. Visit the remote Po Lin Monastery with its famous Big Buddha statue. The Ngong Ping 360 cable car is another popular attraction, offering great views of Lantau and its surroundings.

Lantau Island is Hong Kong's largest island and is known for its beautiful scenery. Tai O is the oldest fishing village in Hong Kong and one of the most popular tourist spots on Lantau Island.
Visitors can use the plain fishing village as a starting point to explore the waters of Lantau. We used the Tai O small yacht to shuttle through the waterways, to enjoy the shacks up close, and to capture the Chinese white dolphins.
From Ngong Ping Market, you can take the No. 21 bus to Tai O, you can brush Octopus, but we are convenient for sea, land and air, so we bought a pass for cable cars, yachts and buses.
After arriving at Tai O Fishing Village, we will go to the small yacht first. The boarding point of the small yacht is next to the bridge. There will be signs to the boarding point along the way. Then take the ticket picked up at the cable car station and board the yacht ticket to board the ship.
The yacht sailed out of the port and we went looking for the Chinese white dolphin. Although it is far away, I would like to record the moment when the sea, land and air are gathering, the bridge running by the car, the ferry on the sea and the plane that is about to land in the air. This scene is very common here, but it is rare for us. The
Chinese white dolphins have been in Hong Kong waters since the 17th century. Their pink appearance is unique and their character is friendly. They are found throughout the year in the western waters of Hong Kong. In Tai O, visitors can take a special boat ride through the river, enjoy the water shacks connected to the households on the journey, explore the simple and tranquil style of Hong Kong's oldest fishing village, and trace the traces of the Chinese white dolphins.
On the New Year's Day, let's take the Ngong Ping 360 cable car from Tung Chung. The process of more than 20 minutes is like being in the air, letting you experience the "flying" general viewing journey. If you want to stimulate some more, you can try the transparent "crystal car" at the bottom of the car, which feels like the blue sea mountain on Lantau Island is at your feet! The destination of the
cable is the Ngong Ping Market, which is rich in Chinese culture. You can enjoy pavilions, shop for souvenirs, enjoy food at restaurants, or watch multimedia programs. Peer." The Ngong Ping Market is also the starting point for the Big Buddha, the Po Lin Monastery, the Ngong Ping Plaza and the Heart Sutra. It takes only five minutes to walk.
If you want to make a perfect ending for a day trip, you can take the cable car back to Tung Chung and enjoy the intoxicating scenery of Sunset West Mountain along the way.
