The wax museum is divided into 10 exhibition areas, including Hong Kong Glamour, Historical and National Heroes, World Premiere, The Champions, and Music Icons. This allows visitors to fully interact with the wax figures in specific scenes. Day 1 – Arrival & Exploring the City We arrived in Hong Kong on 1st September and checked into our hotel. Right away, we were impressed by how vibrant and modern the city felt, with a mix of traditional Chinese culture and international influence. One of the best parts was how convenient the public transportation was, especially the MTR, which made traveling with family easy and efficient. Day 2 – The Peak, Hong Kong’s Iconic View Visiting The Peak was one of the main highlights. The Peak Tram ride itself was exciting, and when we reached the top, the panoramic view of Hong Kong’s skyline was breathtaking. The combination of skyscrapers, mountains, and Victoria Harbour made it a truly unforgettable sight. For Muslim families, it’s good to plan ahead as halal food options are limited at The Peak, so we packed some light snacks. Day 3 – Tsim Sha Tsui & Kowloon Our third day was spent around Tsim Sha Tsui and Kowloon, both bustling areas perfect for walking, shopping, and sightseeing. Tsim Sha Tsui’s promenade gave us beautiful views of Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Island, especially in the evening when the lights came alive. Kowloon, on the other hand, was lively with markets and local shops, making it a great place to experience the cultural side of Hong Kong. We also appreciated that Kowloon has a few halal restaurants, so finding food was not too difficult. Day 4 – Last Moments & Departure Before heading home, we did some last-minute shopping and explored nearby areas. The weather in early September was warm and humid, so staying hydrated was important, especially while moving around with family. Muslim-Friendly Experience Traveling as a Muslim family in Hong Kong was quite manageable. While halal food options are not as widespread as in Malaysia, we were able to find some halal-certified restaurants, especially in Kowloon and Tsim Sha Tsui. Prayer facilities were limited, but with some planning, we managed our prayer times comfortably. Overall Impression Our 4-day trip to Hong Kong was short but enriching. From the world-famous Peak to the vibrant streets of Kowloon and Tsim Sha Tsui, every day offered something new. It was a family-friendly destination with a good balance of sightseeing, shopping, and cultural exploration. Taking pictures there really requires dressing up nicely, otherwise you'll look too much like a wax figure. The only downside is that the ticket price is a bit pricey. Jackson Wang looks so real!
