Standing at 552 m, Victoria Peak is the highest hill on Hong Kong Island. From the summit area, you can enjoy a stunning panoramic view. The public walking paths around the peak offer excellent vantage points for photographing Victoria Harbor and the marvelous Hong Kong skyline. It's possible to reach Victoria Peak by bus or via the historic cable car. There are stores and restaurants located in the Peak Galleria. Visiting at sunset or at night is simply spectacular. There is arguably no better place from which to glimpse central Hong Kong.
There are more tourists on weekends and holidays. The gondola lift may have long lines for significant wait times. Visitors are encouraged to come at different times and avoid the lift unless necessary.

Beautiful Night View from Victoria Peak, Hong Kong You can take the funicular railway to Victoria Peak. From here, you can admire the sunset and a panoramic view of the city. You should come at around noon if you want to see Victoria Harbor in the daytime. Of course, the night view is also worth seeing. It can be windy at the top, so be sure to bring a jacket.
Victoria Peak is other known as simply The Peak in Hong Kong, the highest hill on HK island. Easiest way to go there, 1st is by peak tram going up, the Peak Tram is an unforgettable experience. One of the world's oldest and most famous funicular railways, the tram rises to 396 metres (about 1,300 feet) above sea level. The second way is by bus, of you come from Central, just go bus station under the IFC mall, 15C bus. But for me, i tried to ride the tram going up and enjoy the view and going down is by bus. Things to do on the Peak, viewing the Hong Kong island plus the unique design of different buildings. There are also souvenir shops inside the peak mall, coffee and restaurants, plus you can find there the Madame Tussauds. This place is one of the famous tourist spot in HK.

A trip to Victoria Peak is a must for visitors to Hong Kong. Many ride up the Peak Tram and enjoy the view from there but don't know there's much more to see.
A circle route takes you all the way around the Peak, giving a view in every direction. Parts of the trail go through well established forest and it feels more like being in the jungle than in the middle of a densely populated city.
It's definitely one of the best places to see the skylines of Central and Kowloon, separated by Victoria Harbour.
The circle takes about an hour at a reasonable walking pace.
To get there, take the Peak Tram or climb up one of several trails from Central. There are also buses available.

Hongkong is my absolute favourite place in the world. The mix of old and new, rich and poor... The culture yet the cosmopolitan.
