I visited during the autumn leaves season. Soba is harvested, but the fields are also beautiful after that. The grass that seems to have remained after harvest becomes reddish brown (like terracotta), which is also beautiful like autumn.

Horokanai is the best soba production in Japan. ７ At the end of the month, I went from Hokuryu Sunflower Garden to Horokanai Soba Field. The white soba flowers were blooming on the plateau as far as I could see, and it was very beautiful. However, Sapporo is of course quite far from Asahikawa, the nearest city, and I think sightseeing only in the soba field is a little difficult. The roadside station on the way is lonely, and I wonder if I want another twist.

Masakazu is located in Horokanai Town and is one of the most famous soba producing areas in Japan. Every August, the new soba season is celebrated and the flowers of soba are in full bloom. At the viewpoint along National Highway 275, you can overlook the white soba field from the top of a small hill.

Horokanai is famous for soba, but I was impressed by the first place where soba fields spread so much. Soba, soba, soba on the right and left of the road! I visited on August 8th, and the pure white flowers were in full bloom.

In early August, I asked an acquaintance to tell me and stopped by along the way. White flowers are in bloom all over and it is beautiful. There seem to be 3 other viewpoints here. However, the scenery is the same everywhere, so it may not look good even if you go around many times ... It may be a good idea to take a walk on the footpath as other posters have information.
