Lying to the west of Hailar is the Hailar National Forest Park, mainly characterized by Mongolian pines. There are hills and a large area of Mongolian pines including some odd-looking trees in the park. The park also houses a cage-free zoo where people can see reindeer. The park is composed of the south park, the north park and the west park. In the north park, travelers can enjoy fantastic trees such as the Tree King, Shouwang Pine, Ganquan Pine and Lianli Pine as well as natural attractions. In the south park, there exist ancient cultural relics during the Microlith Age in the northern grassland several thousand years ago.
