The perfect combination of the sea and the mountains and forests, there are both magnificent seas and fine sandy beaches, as well as original natural virgin forests... It fully makes people feel that the power and beauty of nature and the things in the world are not worth it!
The mangroves of Iriomote Island in Ishigaki are very famous. You must take a boat tour here. When the boat is driving in the river between the mangroves, you can look at the lush mangroves on both sides and you can even stroll in the woods. The scenery is very nice
You can participate in various island hopping tours at Ishigaki Pier. I participated in the Mishima One Day Tour: Iriomote, Yufu and Taketomi. Most of the tours depart at around 8 in the morning, and they are only in Japanese. As soon as a group member understands English, they will help us explain. Every time it rains on these islands, raincoats and umbrellas are necessary, but thanks to the off-season, only a few people can enjoy the beauty of this paradise. Iriomote has the richest natural resources, and it is worth planning a single island free tour and parent-child tour in the future. The mangrove wetland is very large, with many special creatures. It took less than an hour to swim by boat, and then took a car to transfer to a buffalo cart across Yufu Island.
The park is beside the Chutong River, where the saltwater and fresh water meet. There are dense mangrove forests next to it. There are not many tourists visiting here. You can go for a walk when the tide is low. I heard that you can also see small crabs. It is a good choice to walk here after having lunch at noon.
