The main hall was rebuilt in a large temple.

It is located at the foot of the south side of Hiwayama Park. It looks like a temple with a large site. From Hiwayama Park, I went around the temple next to the high school. It was a little detour. It seems that it is close to the temple when you go down the stone steps through the torii gate of Hiwayama Park. When I stood at the front entrance of the temple, there were many walls of Saikoji Temple on both sides of the approach, and there was a place that seemed to be the site of the mountain gate. There is a stone monument of Heisei 7 year carved with the temple of Namami Dabutsu nearby, and the opening, renaming, Kaisan, etc. of the temple are explained in detail ...

The Kadowaki district of Ishinomaki City, where Saikoji Temple is located, was destroyed by the great tsunami of the Great East Japan Earthquake. This temple was also in a state of tragic condition at the time of the earthquake, but it was revived to a magnificent temple without knowing it. It's as if there had never been a tsunami rushing here. I felt the strength.

Yukimura's second son was sheltered by the Katakura family, a vassal of the Date family, after the Osaka camp, and became a vassal of the Date family. 10 The descendants of the generation were appointed to government posts here after the Boshin War. Although it was a place that was severely damaged by the tsunami, the temple and its surroundings are steadily recovering.

    it's been revived.

It is a large temple in the Kadowaki district of Ishinomaki. Since it is a district facing the sea, it was severely damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake of 2011 in the year, and Saikoji Temple was also exposed to a bleak appearance. I'm still recovering splendidly.
