    For sacred functions

Clear water is flowing out. The water is for sacred functions at Izumo Taisha shrine. That's it. You need some imagination to enjoy this place. Without imagination, this is just a water flow, small o...

It is a thankful place to receive God water.

    Original Text

It was in the back of the residential area, which was less 々 difficult to understand when going by car. It is near Izumo Taisha shrine, but it is a very quiet place away from the noise. However, it feels a little dull that it is half-maintained. I know it's not that kind of thing, but somehow it's out of time.

God water used for Shinto rituals

    Original Text

It's a little off the sightseeing route, so there aren't many visitors, but along the shrine house street, there is a spring called Manai no Shimizu. According to the explanation board, it is the Shinsui that has been used for Shinto rituals of the Taisha shrine.

    God water

    Original Text

It is a short walk along Shaya-dori on the east side of Izumo Taisha Shrine. When I came to this area, it was a general residential area and there were no tourists at all. It is said that it is a sacred water used for important rituals of Izumo Taisha Shrine, but at first glance it feels like just spring water.

I saw water flowing out between the stones.

    Original Text

If you go along Shake-dori, pass the main shrine, and go further, you will see it on your left. It's now a residential area, but it used to be the precincts of Izumo Taisha Shrine. Water flowed from the gap between the stones that form the waterway 々. In the past, the water that springs out more constantly than it is now is very important = sacred.
