Yongduam (meaning dragon head rock) is probably the most overrated sight in all of Jeju. It was a favorite photo spot for honeymooners a few decades ago and it’s mind boggling why. It is just a drag...
Seated in the seaside of Yongdam-dong in the center of Jeju, the Dragon Head Rock is shaped like a dragon from mythology. It was formed in the sea from lava that erupted from the crater of Hallasan, and looks like a dragon's head. The part of the Dragon Head Rock above the sea surface is more than 10 meters high, and the part under the sea is about 30 meters. Not far from here is the Dragon Pool. The scenery surrounding the Dragon Head Rock at the full moon is highly praised.
Yongyeon Cloud Bridge
It’s a marvelous piece of nature. I love it and I wonder how it can be created by Mother Earth. Jeju International Airport is just 30 minutes walk away from the place. This area gets crowded often and I can see why. There are some seafood places and restaurants near the place. Worth visiting if you are in Jeju. I loved the scenic route towards the main attraction. Frim a certain angle, a figure of a dragon head can be seen. Pretty cool! Come here and visit if you ever get the chance.
Take a cruise to Longtou Rock ashore and your guide will arrange a 40-minute tour. 🚗
The scenery here is good, the sky and sea are bright, the sight is wide, and the air is fresh.
The surging waves constantly beat the black rocks on the shore, which is spectacular. The name is Longtouyan, a closer look is more like Matouyan.⛰

Raiders: South coast of Jeju Island, South Korea
The leading rock is in the center of Jeju, and the seaside of Longtan Cave is actually a piece of volcanic lava like a dragon. It is not far from the Jeju Airport, and it is not bad to stand on the beach.
In the field, the leading rock with a height of 10 meters and a length of 30 meters is really like a dragon that wants to fly. This is the volcanic lava cooled after the eruption of Jeju Island 2 million years ago. The leading rock is also Jeju Island. The symbol of tourism.
