Tongji Gate looks like a rebuilt city tower. You can go upstairs, but there is nothing to see. The downstairs area is not open, so it is not recommended. 2. Some courtyards in Tie Jing Lan are closed during the day, and the night view is different from what you see during the day, so it is worth visiting twice. 4. Beixin Street basically covers all the snacks in Jian'ou, and several of them are old shops, so the taste will be better. 5. There are two food stalls in Beixin Street, and Feifei's business is better and the taste is also good. 6. The stream view in front of Guangxiao Temple is still beautiful, don't miss it. Transportation: There are many bus lines in Jian'ou, but it is difficult to wait for them. Try to book a car through the app as much as possible. The drivers you hail on the road may not be reliable. They will ask you if you want to pay a fixed amount or go by the meter when you get in the car. If you say go by the meter, the final price may be more expensive than the price on the app or the price they said at the beginning. That being said, taxis in Jian'ou are still cheap, and the price is basically within CNY 10 in the city.

Tongxian Gate is located on Cangchang Road, Jian'an Subdistrict, Jian'ou City, Fujian Province. It is one of the four ancient city gates still standing in Jian'ou. Tongxian Gate is 8.5 meters high, with an arched gate 4 meters high and 23.85 meters deep. The existing wall was built in the 19th year of the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty (1386). The stone plaque above the front gate is inscribed with the words "Tongxian Gate" in regular script, which was written during the renovation in the Renzi year of the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty (1792). The city foundation is built with staggered stone strips, and the wall is built with staggered blue bricks, with an arched top. There is a door socket on each side of the middle of the arched top of the city gate. Some wall bricks are stamped with the names of kiln workers. There is a remaining city tower on top of the city gate, with a structure of elephant trunk brackets, retaining the typical architectural style of the Qing Dynasty.
