Daisetsu Dam in Daisetsuyama National Park. The dam lake is a Daisetsu lake. There was a parking lot overlooking Daisetsu Lake and there was also a memorial monument.
It is a dam built in the main stream of the Ishikari River, and the top end of the embankment is National Highway 273. I could see a steel floating water intake tower standing on the dam lake, which quietly flickers the water. Around the dam lake, the autumn leaves began to color and it was a beautiful landscape.

Not much to see
Don't go out of your way to see the Taisetsu Dam. Not a lot to see and the scenery was not particularly great.
