Waipiʻo Valley Lookout

Time and nature's element have carved an unimaginably massive valley filled with deep green encrusted cliffs cut by plunging waterfalls.

It's far from Shilo Airport. Shilo's transportation is not very convenient. It needs to rent a car or take part in group tours. It's easy to find the viewing platform by navigation. However, the parking lot on the viewing platform is very low, and it's often not easy to have a parking space. Many people park on the roadside. The scenery of the viewing platform is very beautiful, but it's still a long distance from the sea. Four-wheel drive can drive directly to the seaside, and the road is very steep. Never drive down with a four-wheel drive. If it takes about 30 minutes to walk down, go down to the bottom of the valley and walk about 400 meters to the left to see the waterfall. Then come back and play on the right. This section of the road is dirty and muddy, and pay attention to avoiding vehicles. The seaside scenery is beautiful and there are many people surfing.

Great hike down to see the falls and beach. Be warned it is quite steep so it can be challenging. It's also quite hot and humid so come prepared but the views are amazing!

Driving to the famous Waipio Valley, Legend has it that the former King was buried in a treasure land, one of the most beautiful spots on Hawaii's Big Island. When we reached the valley, we saw many cars parked on the roadside. The signboard said that the four-wheel drive vehicle could be opened. We did not hesitate. Later, we found that it was not a general thriller and no turning back.

The weather is really powerful. When we play the Valero Valley, the white clouds are winding. The valley under the blue sky is more natural and tranquil. The waterfalls, cliffs, waves and plants are harmoniously integrated into one valley, forming the overall landscape of the valley. This natural scenery is not overlooked by tourists and development. The valley looks very spectacular from a distance, and tourists take photos to commemorate it. It's also a very interesting place to visit in Hawaii.
