Introduction to the Koloa Historic Trail: The Koloa Historic Trail is a 10-mile (16 km) long self-guided tour path with 14 attractions along the way, including: Horn Fountain Park, Prince Kuhio Park, Pope Beach Park, Koloa Pure Land Temple and so on. Koloa is located on the South Coast, where Hawaii's first commercial cane sugar plantation was located, and the sugar industry was once prosperous. The Sugar Cane Monument is located behind the beautiful rain trees in the center of the ancient town of Koloa, and opposite is the site of the stone chimney of Koloa Sugar Factory built in 1841.
