The first two areas mostly have older hotels or cost-effective hotels/guesthouses, represented by Cuihu Hotel. The latter is a concentrated area of five-star hotels in Kunming, represented by Kunming Grand Hyatt Hotel. - For the last two visits, I stayed at Kunming Grand Hyatt Hotel. The location is excellent, with a subway station not far from the entrance. There is an internal corridor directly connecting to Hang Lung Plaza (currently Kunming’s most upscale mall), making dining, shopping, and entertainment very convenient. . Personally, I think many guides recommend staying near Cuihu, but that area has heavy traffic and crowds, making transportation chaotic. Hang Lung is quieter. . The hotel’s decoration style is incredibly photogenic, with standard rooms starting at 45㎡. The rooms have great views and many smart-controlled facilities. .
