    Refreshing

Not far from Iwakura Jitssoin, there is a refreshing waterfall called Fudono Taki. It used to belong to Daiunji temple, but now this is on the ground of Kitayama Hospital. However you can visit it fre...

    Soba of Jisso in Temple

    Original Text

I stopped by on the way back from Jissoin. Even though it is a waterfall, the amount of water is quite small. People gathered from all over the country to pray at this waterfall so that their mental illness would be better, and it seems that it became the current Kitayama Hospital near here.

There is Fudo Falls beside Iwakura Jissoin. It is believed that the heart disease will be cured by hitting it in two waterfalls, Fudo Myoo on the right and Myoken Bodhisattva on the left. Beyond that, there is Akai. This waterfall is a very soothing waterfall. It may have been a place to go in the past.

I think it would be nice if you went with Jissoin Iwakura, who is famous for the maple floor. I want you to feel Iwakura, not just in residential areas.
