Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay

The reservations is a little tricky, since they only let you reserve online for the VR experience. The shark area is fascinating and great to just sit and watch. This aquarium is nice and fun. It's a good activity if you are traveling with kids

The aquarium is not big and the tour takes 1 to 2 hours. It was Halloween and there were 5 to 6 big candy-giving places along the tour route. There was a shallow pool where you could touch rays. There were various large sharks and turtles, but no whale sharks. It is worth mentioning that the ticket also includes a VR show of people and sharks dancing together under the sea. This has not been experienced in other aquariums. It is located in a separate small theater outside the aquarium.

was one of the coolest places I've been. Was 13 at the time and there was plenty of things to catch a teens attention and keep it. The best part was the tunnel. You walk through the tank, it was huge. Glass, water, and fish all around you. It was great. Had a blast and still tell people about it 23 years later.

This aquarium is spacious and bright, with reasonable layout and natural transitions between the exhibition areas. The carefully designed lighting effect reflects each aquarium's beautiful, making people feel like they are in the depths of the mysterious seabed, and you can see a lot of tropical fish that are usually rare.
