Very nice and chic place, very clean and tidy streets, lots of places to see the cathedral, walls to walk up and down, more historic than Zurich, and convenient transportation.
Lausanne is not so flat, so some up and down slopes, it is interesting, there are churches and parks, the building feels very dense, the city is in the center, beautiful.
